Gar-Dur® is approved by the National Sanitation Foundation. To obtain NSF approval, a manufacturer must submit a unit which contains Gar-Dur® Plastic (e.g. a component in a refrigerator or drinking fountain). |

Gar-Dur® is not considered hazardous as defined by the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200. |
UL: |
There is not current listing for Gar-Dur®, however previous UL-94 testing resulted in a V-2 rating for unmodified Gar-Dur® and a V-0 rating with sufficient flame retardant additives. |
